Record your console session and share with others!

If you checked documentation for Bumpversion that I was written about two weeks ago you’ll surely seen animated instructions. That was console session replayed in your browser thanks to Asciinema [1]. I gave it a try:

As you see it has some problems with japanese kanji, but generally works smoothly. Nice alternative for formal videos. The good think is that you can pause, copy text and try the same in your console. One drawback is that you can’t edit stream yet. Recording voice or some subtitles is one think that I miss. It would make it sufficient for publishing Coding Dojo sessions.

Keep an eye on this project. I think it has potential.
